Sorry Will Never Be Enough

There is a boy with a hot temper. He is easily upset and say harshly on others. To reduce the child anger habit, his father gave a bag of nails and told him to hammer a nail in the back fence every time he's angry.

The first day the boy had been nailed 24 nails into the fence every time he's angry. Then the number was gradually reduced. He realized that was easier to hold his temper than nailed a nail into the fence.

Finally came the day in which the child feels completely in control of his anger and not easily to lose patience. He tells this to his father, who then suggested him to pull out one nail for each day he was not angry.

The days passed and the boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails had been pull out. The father led his son to the fence. "Hmm, you have succeeded well my son, but, look at the holes in this fence. This fence will never be the same as before. When you say something in anger. Your words leave a mark like this hole in the hearts of others."

"You can stab a knife on someone, then drew the knife ... But no matter how many times you're sorry, the wound will still be there ... AND the wound because of a harsh words are as bad as physical wounds ..."

Indeed apology can sometimes resolve the problem, but not that soon heals the wounds. Some say "We Can Forgive But Can't Forget"
